个人信息隐私声明

Air Data inc. and its subsidiaries (“Air Data”) attach great importance to respect the privacy of their patients, their clients, their employees and suppliers. That is why Air Data has implemented this personal information privacy policy (“Policy”) with the aim to govern Air Data’s practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

This Policy refers to how Air Data collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. Our practices regarding the respect of your personal information comply with the Loi sur la Protection des renseignements personnels dans le secteur privé du Québec (hereinafter called “PRPSP”). This Policy does not apply to information that does not constitute “personal information” under applicable laws on respect of privacy.

1. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may collect personal information from you:

• When you request information about any of our products and services
• When you do business with us for any of our products and services
• When you contact Air Data Customer Service or Air Data Procurement Department or any employees or professionals of Air Data;
• When you visit the Air Data website;
• When you provide us with comments or suggestions.


2. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Air Data may use personal information to:

• Identify customers, employees and suppliers to establish and maintain a relationship with them;
• Provide customers with ongoing service, to ensure proper services and to better support customers when using our services;
• Improve our products and services offerings;
• Protect against error and fraud;
• Comply with legal and audit requirements;
• Communicate with customers and suppliers;
• Profile users to improve its advertising;
• Communicate new products and services or any other information about Air Data;
• Communicate invitation for activities or events.

Air Data may also use personal information to create statistics about our company. These statistics do not contain information that could personally identify any individual customer, employee or supplier.

3. OTHER USES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

In the event that all or part of Air Data’s assets were sold or financed, or if Air Data were to merge with another company, personal information in the possession of Air Data could be disclosed to the lender, buyer or merger partner, provided such personal information were to be used in strict compliance with the Air Data privacy Policy.

4. TRANSFERS TO AGENTS AND THIRD PARTIES

Some of the products and services that are provided by Air Data may be provided by third parties in cooperation with Air Data. In order to provide you with the products or services that you request from us, we may have to transfer information about you to these third parties.

Where Air Data transfers personal information to third parties for processing on behalf of Air Data, Air Data shall enter into an agreement containing appropriate privacy protection terms before any information is transferred to the third party. These terms must provide that the third party will not use the personal information for its own purposes, will keep the personal information secure, and will only process the information on the instructions of Air Data.

In addition, using certain third-party products to purchase products or services from Air Data may require us to provide your personal information to third parties in order to process the transaction.

To ensure that the information is communicated to the right person, it may be asked to provide appropriate identification document or to identify yourself otherwise.

You may update or correct any personal information in possession of Air Data by writing to the person responsible for privacy at Air Data.

6. CONSENT

You may withdraw your consent to Air Data’s use or disclosure of your personal information by contacting in writing the person responsible for privacy at the following adresses:

In some circumstances, the withdrawal of consent to certain uses or disclosures of personal information may mean that Air Data is no longer able to provide you certain products or services.

7. RECORD RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Air Data will retain personal information for as long as it is necessary to process related transactions in accordance with the laws and regulations, including any Professional regulations, in force in the province of Quebec.

All personal information collected by Air Data is protected by security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. All personal information stored in electronic form, including all information collected through the website of Air Data, is kept in confidential and secure data banks. Air Data evaluates its equipment and security procedures regularly and modifies them if required, so it can remain at the leading edge of security technology.
